Need Quick Money Spending Idea This Weekend to Meet Credit Card Bonus Requirement

Hi I got this new credit card that gives bonus points if I can spend enough money within a certain period and I just got 2 days left (Sat and Sun) but still few hundred dollars short, in need of some ozbargain type of ideas to quickly fulfil that requirement please :D

I don't have any bill due soon, or is there some bill I can prepay? Otherwise I can only think of buying gift cards (with 5% off)…any better idea? For example, is reloadable VISA card still a thing?

    Reloadable visa, I think, is only a thing if you have one already. When the card expires it will not be a thing anymore.

    One option is to overpay your post paid mobile bill if you have one. Then you are in credit for a while.

    I would never suggest buying an iphone from an apple store… then returning it unopened in a week or two. No, definitely don't do that…

        I did a refund the other day and they refunded it back to what you used. Unless you can intercede and ask it to go somewhere else?

    I think its maybe to late. For most of these spending requirement the charges have to have cleared I.e. go from pending transaction to cleared. If you only have a few days to go the spending may not have done it in time.

    BPAY Bills prepay. It will show as credit balance on your bill.

    Fuel, a normal grocery shop for things that will last (toilet paper, tuna, noodles).
    Otherwise +1 prepay amounts on bills in advance.

    • Register the card on Apple/Android pay along with another regular card.
    • Go to Myers and find an expensive jacket.
    • Purchase it using Credit card on Apple/Android Pay.
    • ?????. Just make sure you don't damage or get it dirty.
    • Go back next day and return it on no regrets return policy with your normal card using Apple/Android Pay.
