I got this on clearance from bunnings for $10,so if you wait and your lucky you will get a bargain. However its not easy to operate compared to a normal trolley as there is no place to put your feet when you go to lift the items. I don't recommend it.

It's not really for moving heavy items like fridges. If you need to use your foot to lift something, its probably too heavy for it.

Its more for moving boxes of files and things like that. I have one, and its pretty handy, but it doesn't replace my regular trolley.

Mine was the smaller model and failed quite spectacularly. I left it behind somewhere… meh! Glad I did!

For a 100kg trolley for this price, I would rather get this 250kg one for $29.98.

Except that doesn't fold and destroys the interior when it rolls around

destroys the interior when it rolls around

How? The tyres are rubber and pneumatic. How is that worse than the ones in this deal?

Full on metal vs something with a plastic based frame… that being said we tend to stop giving a shit about work vehicles but still… the 250KG one is a WEAPON in a high velocity crash! Could crush a skull if it misses the cargo barrier.

  • Love these

If you go to Costco you can get a 150KG capacity foldable trolley for around same price

This is absolutely trash. Certainly over rated. Returned mine 6 months. Bunnings return policy is excellent though.

These are super handy, but crap. Not 100kg - well you might get away with it once. All the force is applied to the plastic bracket holding the wheels, and a wheel will just snap off. The whole thing starts to flex with about 50kg.

70kg one at office works - almost exactly the same, but cheaper.

    • Seller name Ozbargainmart seems legit

      • Lol… Never noticed that. I've had that item in my watched list for about a year. Must be Broden. But can't seem to recall those ever being listed.

    • Horses for courses. We tend to ignore the 'rated capacity' because we know that's a once off.

    Perfect

Now I can take Hannibal outside for some fresh air

  • Rubbish design/quality. Plastic bracing cracked under half the rated load merely after a few weeks. Hastily returned.

I'm using https://www.bunnings.com.au/toplift-standard-trunk-trolley_p… at the moment, no plastic parts, feels much stronger.

    • That thing looks sturdy!

  • I bought the very similar looking one from costco and was very dissapointed by the way it works. I does feel flimsy amd always wants to go back to its folded position. I think it would, as others have mentioned be good for files and light stuff.

  • +2

Yeh these are definitely not rated for 100kg.. just ask any fat bunnings staff member to stand on it so you can push them around.. guaranteed to snap within seconds.

    • Lol I used my manager when we were going to buy one to prove the point, mind you she is only around 50kg. Ended up buying one of the Westmixes

    • Lol. You get a vote from me as I laughed at that comment :-)

  • Used to have one in our office to move stuff around, would not recommend getting one.

We have the 250kg rated version of this style trolley. It is total rubbish and flawed design. You can not tilt it backwards with more that 100kg of weight on it due to the poor engineering design of the wheels axel zone sitting back so far from the ideal fulcrum position. I weigh over 120 kg and cannot lever with my full weight to get this thing to safely kick back with 100kg on it. Its a very dangerous trolley design with heavy loads IMO.

Even with a sturdy quality version this trolley style is a cool looking waste of money.

  • I have this, bought it for moving day and I like how it folds. It's not trash as some people claim, but if you are some tradie or guy with heavy requirements maybe skip. If you just want it for moving day or odd jobs around the house, its fine.

  • I should add if this trolley design had some form of hand breaks to lock the wheels to enable it to tilt back it would actually work with heavy loads. If you try to lift it with heavy loads you have to push it forward with one foot or it just rolls back towards you and upright again when the wheels engage. For lifting a light load it is probably ok.
