  • Any reviews on this thing?

    • yes, check the link

    • I bought this for the same price about six months ago.

I use it to trim my ever receding hairline. And I use it get most of my beard off before shaving with a razor. Mind you it can get pretty close on its own.

Battery life is excellent. I’ve only charged it a couple of times. Your mileage may vary.

      For $40 I can’t complain.

      Hope this helps.

Same price ebay, but delivery is free with ebayplus

  • What's the general consensus when it comes to beard trimmers and the best brand in terms of longevity? Braun?

    • I've bought 2 recently and they are junk, weren't cheap either. Love to hear some recommendations.

      • Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power Styler for $30 is actually pretty good value.

      • my 5000 series is very good quality, but cost $80+

    • I've heard bad reviews of Braun from friends. I think Philips is the way to go. I have a Panasonic trimmer which I'm using for the last 6 years and it's still going strong. The battery longevity has reduced a bit.

  • I bought this from Amazon for the same price in June.

I've only used it once and it's fine. You could probably spend more on a better one but this does the job.

  • better to get a quick charing one

  • People rave on about certain products, I've always been disappointed.
OneBlade is great, but I can't get an even shave across my whole face and neck.
It's probably why I've never invested in $300+ in an electric shaver. However I use it before my shower, so once I shave its way easier.

Face trimmers, I bought a VS lithium-pro stubble years ago and it's pretty good. I basically use this to trim when I've grown a beard before I shave. It would take me ages to try get it even across my face tho. Blades have been good tho, it rarely if ever pinches a hair! The Phillips I own, did this often so I stopped using it.

  • Need one of these but needs to be waterproof and usable under running water.

    • 5000 series I think.

I have one, use it in the shower. Never missed a beat

      • cheers thanks i will check it out

  • I have this, have been using it every few days for a couple months now and have found it to be pretty flawless, especially for the price.

    • is it waterproof or can you use it in the shower like buzz a bit off then rinse

      • Not sure if it's recommended you use it whilst showering, but it says you can (and I do) simply rinse the head after use 👌

So yes, to answer your question. Could probably get away with using it in the shower too.

        • Oh okay cool so you rinse the head while it is still on or you have not tried washing it while it is still on?

          • @AlienC: Haven't tried, either way it's just a flick of the switch to turn it off so haven't really found it a hassle. I'm sure it'd be fine if you just rinsed as you went tbh

    • I'm looking for a medium hair cut on the top - is any of the guides provided with this suitable for that purpose? My current one has only 4 guides and even no. 4 trims more than I want. I see there are only 3 guides with this…

      • +1

Yeah can't imagine this is any better Honestly. There is a bundle with more guides that might suit your use case better.

  • Went into the shaver shop and they were selling this for $80. I showed the assistant their online price and she reluctantly matched it but acted like she was doing me a big favour lol

  • is there a voucher code for this? cz it's priced $79.95 in the cart?!
