I have Maxxia card which i get through salary sacrifice and I also have a credit card. I mostly use the credit card for housing bills and airfares. Maxxia doesn't allow me to claim credit card statements through the Maxxia salary sacrifice package. Is there a way I can make credit card payments through the Maxxia wallet?

I don't have a rent/mortgage. I do pay for some groceries through it but I prefer credit card due to travel insurance for flights and also frequent flyer points. Just trying to find a way to see if i can pay credit card bills through my maxxia wallet

You should be able to claim through Credit card bills if you're claiming the benefit "Living Expenses"
Living expenses - Mortgage & Rent however share the same cap. So you may need to look at what you're exactly packaging.
Sorry - Loan repayments are also included in the cap that's shared between Living Expenses and Mortgage and Rent.

We have went paperless, so we no longer accept paper claim forms.

@imnotatroll: Hey, I have tried but I am unable to as it says I don't have access to claims. I talked to Maxxia before regarding this issue and they said Sa health employees can't claim anything other than rent/mortgage. Have to swipe the card every time in other instances. Unless you have any other ideas, I am happy for you to contact me and get in touch.
Very annoying as most of my family members can claim their credit card statements through there salary sacrifice company but I can't.@booze101: I'll follow this up with one of my colleagues that deals with SA Health. I'll let you know as soon as I have an answer for you :)

SA health don’t allow ‘manual claims’
They can only do a wallet card, OR a regular benefit which is LOAN, MORTGAGE, RENT

The reason that you're unable to do manual claim and claim on your credit card statement is due to what your Employer allows their employees to salary package.
No idea, but I would have thought the value would be much better salary sacrificing than accumulating points…
I used to be with Maxxia and they allowed me to use my credit card for utilities, spending etc. All I had to do what provide a credit card statement and I would get reimbursed the max fortnightly amount. Had to fill in a reimbursement claim form. It might have changed now.
Yep i am a health employee and they don't offer it to us. Still applies to other employers, just not ours :(
From my very limited understanding using SmartSalary I think what you can can't do depends on the employer (and also the state if your state government employed as some states have different incentives). This is because different employers have different fringe benefit liabilities so you probably need to ask Maxxia directly.
