Diesel for 99 cents a litre. Bargain. I am close to Baldivis, and ready to fill up. Cheers OP!

  • Do you think the price will be on fuelwatch.wa.gov.au? Great deal but a long drive if not in available Baldivis.

    • The price is listed on fuelwatch. Just check best prices for SOR tomorrow.

    • Yes prices have to be and are set for the day .

  • Does anyone know if this fuel is blended with ethanol? Or is that an eastern states thing and all fuel in WA are the same

    • +1

Pretty sure it is not. Very few service stations in WA have E10.

      • Southern river 711 has got E85

    • +1

E10 isn't available / refined in WA (United sold it for a few years but even they gave up on it), so it isn't even possible for ethanol to be blended in.
All fuel in WA comes from the same BP refinery in Kwinana.

      • Cool! Thanks for that! I wasn't sure if there was any real difference between the petrol stations.

Too bad I topped up my tank on Monday.

Am I interpreting this correctly - Activation Terms & Conditions: This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other fuel discount or promotion, outside of RAC WA discount.

You can still get 4c/L off if you're an RAC member?

    • +1

Yes looks like it is valid with the RAC discount so effectively 0.95c/L

      • Sweet!

hahaha question is can i be bothered for 30mins of lining up for the few dollars saved on fuel?

    • +1

You'll be lucky if it's only 30mins. Probably closer to an hour's wait. I don't mind queueing but this queue is going to be ridiculous.

    • Why not wake up early and be at the pump before 6am and then fill?

      • This! I find it the best time is to fill up at 6am hardly a line up!

      • +3

I guarantee there will be people doing the exact same thing before heading off to work. It's going to be a car park, not to mention they'll be grumpy first thing in the morning.

  • +3

When they did this on the Gold Coast recently, they had people queuing for hours and also people trying to cut the queue.

Waiting for over an hour to save a couple of dollars on fuel seems pretty silly to me.

    • $30 for a 60l assuming 50c discount

Yeah I wouldn't do it for $30 either, my time is worth more than that

  • +1

Pretty disappointed that my helicopter will be out of action tomorrow.

  • if I had to choose between going here and line up, or pay $1.50 I know I’d pay the extra. I can see people giving up after an hour. I’d also recommend avoiding the area completely if you drive through and aren’t after the petrol as knobs will be blocking off the roads and intersections close by which happens every time in WA there is a fuel deal.

  • Waiting to fill up AND waiting in line to pay not to mention the traffic in and out. I usually go late on Mondays, I hate waiting at the servo, not worth the savings vs time lost.

  • Dayton !!! Wow , what a trip going there !!

  • +1

Just heard them advertising this on the radio. They mentioned it excludes 95 and 98 octane and only applies to 91 octane and diesel

  • +1

Is it just me, but would anyone else want a pay per view event for the day, just to watch the traffic and chaos at the servo throughout the day?

  • +1

    For anyone wondering,

This was at 7am this morning.

    Baldivis Puma arrive 6.08AM.
Exit station 7.25AM, avec 108L diesel.

Only surprises a 120 litre maximum. And a free cup of coffee.

3AMish tonight back for 110L unleaded.

This seems too much trouble for the servo and surrounds. About 5 or 6 attendants just directing traffic, 2 more in shop, and I assume a loss on the fuel.

Servo won't lose money, 92.9 will pay them

Went for a look as had to drop off gear nearby. Baldivis Puma 15mins from arrival and I was fuelled and free coffee and paid 95CPL
    Bargain 👍
Google maps is my friend others waiting hours the line down the main road in was crazy

    • How did Google maps help you to pick a better time?

      • -1

Not a better time but taking me on a route that was quickest due to traffic. Everyone else went via main roads google maps took me via back streets ending up near the entrance.
