Pepperoni & Hawaiian are personal favourites, but they're all pretty good. I've never tried the bolognese one though, that just seems wrong.

        Spinach is my fav

      • +2

        Spinach or 4 cheeses.

        • +1

4 cheeses is really good. I have noticed one thing, the base on the Canadian pizzas is a little different. It's a bit drier and more crumbly.

The spinach pizza almost masquerades as health food because it's covered in a vegetable.

          • @Cluster: Giving the Spinach a try as we speak!

            • +1

@sweetnipples: Hell Yeah that was good!!!
              Cooked at 240c for 9min
Nice browned smokey crust, juicy toppings, even the Mrs couldn't believe how nice it was

As another poster has said, some bacon slices and BBQ sauce, smashing!

      • Pepperoni by a mile.

What is he a doctor of?

    • +1

      Diabeetus?

      • Is that the German translation?

    • Pizzaology

      • +1

Nice. I hope to one day be a doctor of love.

    • +3

      He was a pharmacist.

Also was literally a Nazi in the Waffen SS.

All that killing could make any man hungry

      • +1

Well thats not true. The original Dr Oetker - the company founder Dr August Oetker was a food scientist. His grandson Rudolph-August ran the company later and was involved in the Waffen SS. August's son Rudolph Oetker died in WW1.

        • I stand corrected, my reading comprehension sucks!

    Only frozen pizza worth buying

    • Picasso Kitchen supreme and meat lovers from Woolworths are the best tasting and most filling frozen pizzas around.

      • The Picasso's arn't frozen though - from deli section, but the super supreme is my go to.

    • Aldi mid-tier frozen pizza is what McCain's used to taste like back in the day.

  • +5

This is a good enough excuse to shop at Woolies this week, just to avoid listening to that squeaky voice clown of a woman that does the Little Shop ad.

    • +3

I listen to smooth FM on my work commute and whenever I hear the ad (quite often) I think about how squeaky it is. Reassuring to know that someone shares this thought.

    • I honestly refuse to shop at Coles because all of their ads about me.

Anyone ever hack these pizzas by adding extra cheese and toppings?

    • +4

      anyone doesn't?

    • bacon and bbq sauce swirl on the spinach is A+

    • +3

No, no one has ever "hacked" these pizzas because they don't have a network adapter, an Ethernet port nor built-in WiFi and even with physical access, connectivity is limited to the following interfaces: knife, fork or hand.

      • B-but what about the mezzaluna interface?

        • +1

I think that's more of an adapter; you use it to convert your standard 14" inch, circular media which is only compatible with industrial wood-fired burners into the 3.5" inch hand-held quadrant format, which is about the maximum size most biological readers can accept through the universal Pie-Hole slot.

…these are so bad. not even good bad …just bad

    • +1

You've tasted worse pizzas. You know it.

    • +2

is dat ina Brunawick or Footescray?

    • +1

I almost barfed when I tasted the meat on one of those. The base was good though, maybe I should try one without meat.

      • +1

…yeh. terrible meat & base was dry and textureless

  • These are so healthy!

  • -3

i dont understand why these are so popular when you can get something tasty for $5 that uses real ingredients & cooks up really well..

    eg.
Coles BBQ Chicken & Bacon Pizza
    Coles Pumpkin & Fetta Pizza

    • Picasso pizzas from Woolies for $4.50 are my pick - much better, those coles ones look like frozen pizzas that happen to not be frozen - cheap processed meats and shredded cheese. My go to if I need a quick feed (10min in a preheated oven, 20-25min starting in a cold oven) for under $5:

      Picasso Supreme

      • -2

nah the cheap $3 ones are processed and crap

$5 range and up are much better for eg the ones above use fresh chicken breast and real bacon…the pumpkin fetta is real roasted pumpkin with real fetta on decent stone cooked bases. these arent frozen and theyre not the budget ones youre thinking of

        have a look:
        https://www.lazyfoodreviews.com/pizza/coles-pumpkin-fetta-pi…

        • Did you look at my link? The one I posted is not frozen either.. Also the scores on that site appear to be based on 1-2 reviews so its not exactly a lot of data. I know the ones you posted arn't frozen - the way they're made though they look like the frozen ones i.e. shredded meats - you can see it through the box when you buy that chicken and bacon one. I've found the picasso's to be better after trying both, but everyone has their own tastes. The Picasso is an alternative that is at woolies though.

Hello, I'm a Coles Group Limited bot. Beep, boop, bleep. Have you tried to feed your family for $10 with Curtis Stone's recipes? (Hint: You can't, but buy our Coles brand crap anyway).

      • …better than this frozen piece of sh*t :P

  • +1

There are two "P's" in pepperoni. Did they delete one because it's half off?

  • Just bought 10 of these
Im very late to the party, first time knowing about them was last week
But what has me posting, is where they are made!!!
Some say Made in Canada, some Made in Germany…. wow, that took me by surprise

  • Only good one is Bolognese which seems to be extinct?
