        Definitely a weird delivery.
        Just rang the doorbell, guy in plain clothes with his mobile in hand asked my name, handed me a pretty plain envelope and jumped back into a Toyota echo.

        Was like the uber eats of deliveries.

        I'd be a little worried if I wasn't expecting the delivery.

      Wall charger info:

      Charging protocols supported (done using a USB tester):

      • BC DCP: 5V 1.5A
      • Samsung 5V: 2A
      • Samsung AFC: 9V
      • QuickCharge 2: 5V 9V

      Basically, if you have Samsung devices (mobile phones, tablets), you will be quite happy. But, if you have Apple devices such as iPads, you cannot get 2A out of this - because Apple 5V 2A/2.4A charging protocol is not supported (so at best 1.5A using BC DCP 5V/1.5A, but during my limited testing, the max I get from charging an iPad is 1A - which is like slow charging). Also, QC2 is just 5V, 9V, there is no 7V support. It's fine for Android phones in general.

    This would be very handy if, instead of a power adapter, you got a crappy charger with a grey import phone.

    Annoying that I just bought a samsung wall wart from Kogan for 9 bucks delivered. Its 9.95 delivery to Sydney metro on top. Still a good deal for genuine accessories.

    I'm chasing a new fast car charger for my Pixel 3a XL, would this work and would it be worth it?

    My Tronsmart one doesn't charge the Pixel fast for some reason.

      Read my comment above regarding supported protocols.

      It depends on your definition of compatible. You can charge it, but will be using BC DCP: 5V up to 1.5A. It is the same for all USB-A chargers on a Pixel. Given that USB-PD is only possible through USB-C (because the PD pins are only available on the USB-C connector), you can only get USB PD working if the charger itself is type-C port and supports PD.

    Any deals on just a good output car fast charger ?
    Btw. The genuine samsung micro USB cables are usually about $3 delivered.
    Also, if anyone has a device that does not support fast charging, I have sourced genuine samsung wall plugs with AU plug for about $5 each. The prices quoted are from over 12 months ago, so GST and inflation etc may mean they cost slightly more, but not much more.

        JB was selling it for $20 in June, but the price has gone up. If you still have any JB voucher from getting digital receipt ($10-$15), you could use it to lower the price. There are other places selling these for cheaper price, but how legit… unclear.

        The included cable in the standard USB travel adaptor pack appears to be better quality, compared to the ones included here (if you judge it by the cable thickness). But this one has two cables (with USB-C converter). Feature wise, the wall chargers are the same (except colour difference) - they are both designed mainly for Samsung devices.
