  • Not the style of knife I like but you always put up good bargains so + from me.

  • That knife is not worth $169.95 in my opinion.

  • Your Leatherman's are very cheap so a + from me

  • Bring on Bear Gryls versus Les Stroud in the Ultimate Survivor Man marathon - lets see whose gear has got the goods!!

    • let's not forget Ray Mears ;)

      • This knife would easily beat out the Bear Gryll's series, which are just cheapish Gerber blades with AUS-8 cores.

The Helle knives and other higher end knife makers (Coldsteel, Mora) use "laminated" steel which is a fancy way of saying layered steels, which results in a better knive in regards to edge holding/sharpness etc etc.

Though I have no idea why you would want outdoor survival knife with a wooden-laminate handle instead of a micarta or grivory handle…
