    You most certainly can!

    I see value in 2 areas:

    • 3 yr warranty vs 1 yr warranty.

    • water/dust resistance vs lack of it!

    Taking into account the cashback, its close to a $100 difference between the 2!

        That’s one monster enclosure so there’s value for some in the in the size and weight. $1/gram is a fair bit but would be par with premium you pay for an ultra light notebook.

  This is a lot smaller than a 2.5" SSD with an enclosure!
  A reasonable comparison to this would be a DIY solution using a M.2 SSD which will end up costing more…
