rx570 is definitely not upgrade for 1050.
best cooler? other than the worst cooler, the rest are all ok choices….
RX 570 slaughters a GTX 1050 let alone a GTX 1050 Ti

@Hornpub are you being serious? An RX 570 isnt an upgrade on a 1050? Thats the funniest thing ive read this week so far, thanks for the laugh, the RX 570 is on par with a GTX 1060 in some instances.
Which one do you think is better? Theres only gigabyte and msi. So im leaning towards gigabyte.
Looks like there's not many RX570s around at the moment (most models on PC Part Picker are showing as not being carried by anyone currently, or are priced as high as an RX580).
There is this ASUS model https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/RX7CmG/asus-radeon-rx-57…
To be honest, I haven't looked into RX570s much myself. I was researching RX580s a few weeks back, and constantly came across posts and reviews warning people off the MSI Armor series.
I would go with the MSI Gaming X RX 570 because of the awesome Twin Frozr cooler and excellent 3 year Warranty, ive always had excellent service from MSI RMA too when things have gone pear shaped in the past. The Armour is ok too as you get the warranty and the performance, just dont expect to be able to overclock it too far as the cooler is not the best. Be careful buying Gigabyte RX 570's, due to mining a lot of places are only warranting them for 12 months, U Mart being one of those I believe.
good old days mining with these bad boys
What even compares to these as a more current card these days? These are now a few years old, but it doesn't seem to be anything of this performance in the 200-250 range - The 1650's don't match them and 1660's are an extra $100 and if you're hitting the 1660 price range you're almost better off going into the 2060's
1660 is a dud at the current price point
Note, the MSI Armor series are notorious for poor cooling that limits performance.
