Ok Thanks.. I will update it
Nearly purchased 55" UK7550 $788 today, but disappointed by reviews indicating serious "banding issue".

How does the SK800 75" compare to the UA75RU7100?
All LGs use IPS panels so they have poor blacks, brightness and contrast. Even the local dimming is bad as its zones go all the way from the top to bottom. So blooming is all across the screen. Only advantage is a little bit better viewing angles. Rather get Samsung as it uses VA panels for all their models.
Ah, I see I have made the right decision!
i second that on the banding , LG have some horrible blacks on the LED panels. i had a 65 inch lg and i couldnt stand that banding anymore and sold it, went with a 65 oled sony and i havent looked back. and no there aint no burn in if you just watch tv and netflix. if you watch CNN or some news show all day and night then yea youll get it eventually. buy the right tv for the right application and youll be happy.
Obviously because they are Ex display
No one in their clear mind would pay full price
