I am looking for 2080 ti for a good price may be below $1350 but not seeing that happening
You and me both. We might be waiting a good while before they get discounted further.
I am waiting till the 2080 super hits and see if there is changes in prices.. Also have to check the price performance of the super card before pulling the trigger for 2080 ti..
Cheapest I've seen: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/468836
Gigabyte 2080ti is often $1400 with ebay code. Higher end eg MSI Trio and Asus ROG got for $1600-$1650, less often.
I own one of these and it has a power delivery issue or something similar causing fans to spin up randomly. Inno3D have been anything but helpful in the RMA process and have started ignoring my communication. I may have gotten unlucky, but take caution in less popular brands.
Only issues I've seen people mention is issues with afterburner
Unfortunately the first few things i tried involved downgrading drivers, forcing fan speeds (with afterburner) and then removing afterburner. None of them solved it for me.
Dammit, I just bought an MSI version for $999. Like 10 minutes ago.
You are in safe hands
This rtx 2080 or a Evga sc2 gtx 1080ti second hand with two years warranty left on it for $800?
I'd get the 1080ti personally if you aren't interested in ray tracing.
Thanks dude I wasn't sure if ray tracing was going to be a big deal
Not really all that useful currently.
the GTX 2080 has the newer NVenc if you're considering streaming.. basically newer is better, higher quality and integrates directly with OBS.
Interestingly ends on the date of 2080 super launch
yep and they changed the RRP to 949 lol.
Was something like $1100 RRP the other day.
This is a decent price for a powerful GPU, however for the brand I'd rather wait to see what 2080 Super brings.
These have certainly dropped a load since the SUPER version of the RTX-series came out… Only $100 dearer than the cheapest stock GTX 1080 I can find on StaticIce.
