yeah, not much flavour, good if you're thirsty. I drink these like soft drinks with meals and enjoy some real beers watching TV. Got them loose (cartoon damaged) for half this price at local DM, expires 2020
Individual taste. I prefer Hollandia. Oettinger is too bitter to my liking
ha yeh i recall first having oettinger thinking it was too strong, but then because I got 24x500ml for $40… i got used to it. and then i found the lighter flavoured beer hollandia difficult to handle.
Oetingger gives awfuls hang-overs, Hollandia doesnt.
Haven't tried it before but might pick up a case, can anyone compare it to similar beers? I have tried Oettinger and quite like it.
Both are cheap low end beers in their home country but imo still better than much of the stuff brewed under licence here. Hollandia id say is milder taste.
It is a light tasting Lager.
Quite like it actually.
Hollandia is export beer. Good luck finding it anywhere in The Netherlands or anywhere in Europe for that matter.
It's (was) around $32 for the 330ml bottles so this is marginally cheaper. Light flavour, good with asian food. Oettinger is significantly more bitter/hoppy to my palate. If you like full-flavoured beer you'll be disappointed with Hollandia, if you like a beer with food or for a refreshing drink it's okay. Better than the ubiquitous Heineken swill they serve in Europe imo.
Drank so many of those back in the day, used to be a $30 carton at first choice, maybe less…
good price. but after getting a taste for oetingger, hollandia didn't make the cut for me. and I only drink really cheap beer.
