Kathmandu Epiq Men's & Women's down Jacket $149.98 @ Kathmandu (Online & in-Store)

120

The Kathmandu Epiq down jackets are back to their low price of $149.98. They were on sale until yesterday at $179. The RRP on these are $350 but we all know no one pays retail there.

These jackets are so much warmer than the Heli down jackets which are often on sale at $100. Just takes a bit of getting used to the zip on these.

Women’s version - https://www.kathmandu.com.au/epiq-women-s-down-jacket.html

The hooded versions have also been reduced from $199 to $179.98 as part of this “final sale”. Although they have more sales than John Farnham has farewell tours.

    Is the tea-towel included?

The black ones are nice, but the one in the pinned picture looks more like a picnic set.

        LOL! Multi-usage - nice…

What is the deal with everyone and their dog wearing the black ones? When I am out in public it is like I am surrounded by a cult. At least the above has some colour.

That's why I bought the russet-coloured one (the other style, not this one).

I got one last week and it is without a doubt the best/warmest jacket I've owned in my life. Would recommend.

for $150 i'd rather buy a macpac halo hooded down jacket. much better quality than kathmandu. the halo jacket has 600 fill power and it's rrp is $299.99 but macpac will often have half price sales.

I've got a macpac halo and I wouldn't say it has much better quality compared to the Kathmandu which I also have. I'd say they're pretty much the same quality. And the Kathmandu has "Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish which encourages water to roll off the surface" where the Macpac does not which should the kathmandu may perform better for longer in drizzle/light rain compared to the macpac.

The difference is probably negligible in real life…so for me I think the jackets are on par. Get whatever is cheaper and whatever looks nicer to you.

This way half of Melbourne CBD is tool now. I keep seeing everyone having this Kathmandu (Black green) jacket this winter.

      • yes it's the true Volkswagen of puffer jackets this winter. jeez

  • OMG… this is the fashion now?

The flannel trucker look mixed in with puffer jacket? Cool ;).

  • Any idea on the sizing for these? Do they run big or small? I’m nowhere near a Kathmandu store.

    • There’s a sizing chart on the website. I’m 6’1 and the large was a good size for me.
