Can personally vouch for these screwdrivers as worth every cent. I've used mine for years and they not only stop you from stripping screws but they dig into even the most stripped of screws to pull them out.

The tips on mine still and feel like new. Seriously awesome stuff.

If you do any sort of electronics/laptop work you owe it to yourself to get some good screwdrivers.

This set is an excellent start, the next step up from here would be to pick up some Torx and maybe Pentalobe (Apple security screw) drivers to add to your set.

    I think they're for different scenarios.

    If you're taking apart laptops that use PH0 and PH00 screws every day, this set would be better as you don't have to keep swapping tips that could roll off a table into the abyss.

    But if you take random things apart which may use any kind of screw, the Xiaomi set would be better as there is a larger variety of tips.

    Also, you can't reach deeply-recessed screws with the Xiaomi set.

      the main point here is more that the xiaomi set is made by wiha so any concerns about quality shouldn't be an issue. i agree with your suggestion about uses however, it comes down to user preference if they want a larger screwdriver that doesn't have detachable bits etc.

          @eug: Yeah more of a general info for the entire thread before somebody came in and suggested that the Wiha branded ones were “better” than the Xiaomi ones, haha

    Do remember if your screw is in a deep hole the Xiaomi can't reach the heads where this set is good for deep holes. I know coz i ran into that problem with the Xiaomi's and i got myself one of these.

    I think the Xiaomi set is good for the obscure types you might not use too often, but for the types you do use often a dedicated driver is worth it.

  Do they come with a case or roll up bag kind of thing? Also wish there was a PH2… I do like the Wiha quality :)

    I agree with eug. Anything bigger than a PH1 and you’ll want to use a full size grip like the Wiha SoftFinish. Bunnings has a good value 6 pack that I recommend. They also sell a VDE version.

    I got a 4 pack of these (000, 00, 0, 1) from Amazon a while back and they only came in a plastic packet.

    Both excellent brands but I’m much more of a Wiha fan for their screw drivers, much better grips and a simpler, more professional design in my opinion.
