I believe this is the lowest price of the Thrustmaster T300 RS GT edition ever. Although it would ship from US and take couple of weeks, but I think it's still worth it.
Not sure with the AU plug.

I think it's both and dependent on the cable with this model.
lol Thrustmaster
Strap in and feel the G's!
Been wanting one of these for a while now but all the reliability issues have me worried about buying online.
Have also heard thrustmaster wheels arnt so good to clamp on and off your desk compared to logitech.
I've steered clear of thrustmaster because of the reliability. Aiming to get a fanatec if I can snag one for the right price
I bought one of these second hand off gumtree, and it has been awesome.
I actually can't remember whether there was a clamp, because the front edge of my desk was useless even with my old logitech wheel.
Instead I bought a wheel and pedals stand from a guy in sydney on ebay, it was about $130 including postage. Its a fold up/down design with all the holes pre-drilled for this and other types of wheels. It was a great price compared to brand name alternatives you see around at JB etc. It sits on the carpet and doesn't move much, but I don't have the brake mod to increase brake pedal stiffness, so I don't know if it would move around on the carpet with the brake mod installed.
I can't emphasise how much better the driving experience is with this rig.
If anyone wants an ebay link to the rig I am talking about, PM me..
I can't see the original comment you replied to, what wheel did you buy?
Thrustmaster T300 RS GT Edition
This is better than the G27/G29 but needs a rig, if I remember correctly? That is, the pedals have no carpet grip and you can't just clamp it to your desk.

I actually bought this 2 weeks ago when i first saw the deal and then canceled it an hour later when i realised it would be a 110v unit. Followed up some research on google and yea. Seems like theres a large risk even with adapters and a converter buying from US. 2 additional points of failure is not a risk im willing to take.
Looks like im stuck with a controller for now.
Is it confirmed amazon supplies the 110v unit? Out of all the 3 they give us that one!
Yea its a 110v unit but i saw 1 post from someone on Reddit saying they messaged Amaazon+thrustmaster asking for them to send the EU/AU one instead. Not sure how it worked out for them.
I would message Amazon and ask them just to be sure!!
Someone has answered this on the Amazon Q&A section:
I am in Melbourne Australia, and just purchased on of these last month from Amazon US. When it arrived, I had to purchase a $95 electrical converter as the steering wheel would have blown up if plugged straight into AUS power socket. Hope this helps.
I would like to be at meeting when the marketing team went with …thurstmaster
lol…
Any inquisitive nieghbours are sure to have some fun imagination when they see you large boxes saying "thrustmaster" and "Thrustmaster add ons" on your doorstep.
Be aware this isn't 240v. You will need a transformer and adapter.
