How is this a deal? $24 for 2 large is a normal good price…. for gourmet pizzas.

PS. Never trust a fat chef.

Their most expensive large pizza seem to be the Tiger Prawn & Scallop - Gluten Free Base and the Smoked Salmon for $23.50 (that I can find there)…still, two of those are only $47
Unless their large pizzas are super huge, this deal makes Dominoes downsized regular priced pizzas look cheap!

Dominoes are no longer pizzas, now cookies! :-(

Pfft local italian pizza place near me does a huge woodfire pizza like 2x the size of dominos, for $12 and free local delivery, everyday price.

  • i reckon the Rep is comparing these Large pizzas on offer to the prices of the Family pizzas ????

What dont these local pizza places know that they need to lower their places dramatically to compete with dominos and pizza hut

    • I could understand that if they made skimpy little pathetic offerings like Dominoes and Pizza Hut?

  • Adam, the website domain name is a .com and not a .com.au and this is a little concerning.

Also, if we buy the deal, we pay later, does this mean after the deal closes or is payment made at the shop?

    • I don't think it's actually a "Group Buy" Site.

From the way I read it, the vouchers are actually free.
Ie. it's just a free coupon site.

      • You are right, it seems we can get the voucher free, and there is no need to use the voucher on a change of mind decision. This is not bad, with the voucher in your hand someone is able to go to the shop and decide not to go ahead if the saving is not good enough. Bugger, missed out on the Pyrmont Pizza voucher last week.

    • That's right, they don't collect any money up front so no issues with getting refunds etc if you miss out. Essentially the business is doing some advertising. I had a good 2 course $10 lunch at the Thanon Khao San with a voucher.

    • Yes, you are all right. Unlike other group buying sites there is no upfront payments. You only pay once you actually used the voucher. So no more wasting money on unused vouchers.

It may be a .com but it is an Australian site. We'll get the .com.au domain working soon.

  • Just in case you don't know this pizza shop. I have their pizza almost everytime I need do ot at office. You will find it hard to get a better meatlover in Sydney. It is usually 20.50 each ordering through movingmenu. Really no comments to the guys who neg this deal.
