I was emailed this deal from Amazon US. I normally pay $9.99 per month for kindle unlimited. (All prices are USD).

There is 3 options you can select.
1) 20% OFF - 6 months - $47.86 normally $59.94
2) 33% OFF - 12 months - $80.30 normally $119.18
3) 40% OFF - 24 months - $143.80 normally $239.70

I chose option 3 which saves me $137.50 AUD over the 2 years. It worked for me. Make sure you sign out of your Aus account and into your US account before clicking the link as its region restricted. (I also used a VPN but I don't believe its needed).
