I'm looking to get a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier watch and was wondering if Samsung Pay works on a non-Samsung phone such as my LG v30+?
Where is the cheapest place to get a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier watch now? Should I get a grey import from tobydealsau.com? Cheers

I've got a Galaxy watch on a non Samsung phone and Samsung Pay works fine.
Better off getting local stock unless you want to stuff around with the firmware to get Samsung Pay working. I think you have to flash the Aussie firmware onto it or something like that for it to work with grey imports.
Had any luck from an Aussie dealer? It's no longer on HN, Dom, or Officeworks. JB has it, for $399, though the sperson said he could do it for $320.
That's pretty expensive for a 2 year old watch. I would look at Xiaomi Amazfit range or even a secondhand Garmin.
