  • I certify my own preowned goods too after I give them a spit and polish. I even give them the original packaging if I kept it instead of plain packaging.

  • Is this shop really sell things cheap?

  • Not exclusive… Saw this in my email spam inbox

I've picked up a couple of laptops from this place, was a little skeptical at first but have had zero issues with them. Was surprised that the batteries were in decent nick because they were 2-3 years old but still fine.

Only thing I hate is that no battery life description is included and in the quality description. I don't care if there's dents in the case, I do care if I need to go spend $150 on a new battery straight away. Otherwise I'd pick up one of those S13's right now (Couple of gen old Core i7, 512gb ssd, 1080p IPS screen for $400? Bargain. But quality is "good", which means poor in most languages)

    • The thing is, the "couple of gen old Core i7" would means dual core CPU, which is horribly weak nowadays. Even last gen i3 (8th gen) is QUAD core, and will easily stomp your couple of gen old Core i7. Up until Ryzen, Intel purposely gimping laptop CPU by branding loads of dual core CPU with Hyper threading as Core i5/Core i7 where as they were really Core i3/Pentium, due to next to none competition from AMD.

So yes, they would be cheap. I picked up an Alienware R13 3 years ago with 6th gen core i5 and GTX 960M from Dell refurbished for $650, with 12 months warranty from Dell. I would call that cheap, 3 years ago. What you are buying here is 3rd party refurbished, who knows what quality and what warranty.

      • yeah agree. if this shop is really about bargain they can sell in seconds but they choose to still rip people off

  • Even after $150 discount some of those iPad prices are very close to Apple refurbs that come with new screen, battery, charger, cable, manuals and 12 months warranty.

  • Just snagged one of the aspire S13s for $229. even if its got bumps and scratches it'll still be a bargain for the money.

    • Received it today, definitely happy with the condition for $229 (not perfect with some specs in the aluminium paint but no scratches on the screen and no gross glossiness on the keyboard, which is most surprising).

I wish they had real photos of the laptops to show the cosmetic condition instead of stock photos…

    • I agree, wouldn't take much to take a few snaps, maybe 5mins.
