    Depends on the NBN provider I guess. If it does not require a modem to authenticate it should work.

    It's a wireless range extender. Nothing to do with NBN. It just repeats your wifi signal to extend it further.

    It can be used as an access point, however I'm not sure if it has it's own DHCP table, meaning you may not be able to use it with more than one device when in that mode (without having an additional router). But at this price, you may as well get a router.

  STAY AWAY!!!
  I got fooled by reading all the fake positive reviews, I spent like $140 or something on this last year
  even with all the latest firmware, all this piece of garbage does is bring down your entire home wifi instead of boosting it
  everytime I switch it on I end up turning it off after a few hours

  Agree, bought this and was rubbish! Sent it back thinking faulty, next one was just as bad!!

  Didn't extend my signal, caused issues on phones and tablets etc saying connected and had no internet.

  Was a nightmare to trouble shoot and support is non-existant.
