Decent price for a 1050Ti 4GB. Note that it doesn't seem to be low profile.

I would of jumped on this if it was low profile, wanting it for an Optiplex 9020 SFF.
theres a newer generation coming out called 1650TI low profile
That's not the TI version
while not my cup of tea, plenty people online have used pcie and power supply extenders to house larger cards in different placements within and sometimes outside of the small form factor cases.
The only good 1050 Ti is a low-profile 1050 Ti.
Waste of money.
Tough crowd.
That is some freaky box…
Trying to scare the crowd into buying something better.
If you trust the one review on the EBay link it’s says suitable for low profile.
I wouldn't trust it as galax had their 1050 Ti OC 4G LP cards which were low profile and a lot narrower than these http://www.galax.com/en/graphics-card/10-series/galax-geforc…
It doesn't look too small, but the dimensions are provided (with and without bracket), so it shouldn't be too hard to check if it fits before buying. There are a few deals for 1050 2GB LP cards around the same price as this one that should be a better fit for SFFs.
Yeah you’re right no LP but you can probably swap out the bracket. Just double check dimensions of your case and clearance.
its not the bracket, the whole card is a wider than the LP card.
Only 5mm difference in height without bracket so you’ll need to check your case and internal clearances. It’s a diy mod job in any case and will not appeal to everyone.
low profile cards are not named as such for the height you are talking about. both are still 2 slot cards. the LP one is significantly narrower.
the card for sale in this thread is this http://www.galax.com/media/wysiwyg/corpsite/products/1050TiO…the LP, actual low profile is this http://www.galax.com/media/wysiwyg/corpsite/products/1050LP/…
it's nothing to do with the height. think more left to right of the pcb itself.
I bought a Sapphire HD7950 back in the days for 180$ brandnew at least 5 years ago when I build a PC with 4th-gen i5 and I am amazed to find out the performance of GTX1050TI after seeing this post.
Irrelevant to the product, but how are people's experience with Tech Mall in terms of satisfaction and service? Need to buy a new monitor after computer alliance sent an opened box item despite listing as brand new.
If you don't want to wait for shipping it's $189 at umart https://www.umart.com.au/Galax-GTX1050-Ti-OC-PCI-E-4GB-GDDR5…
It's a 1050 Ti, it would have to be almost free to be worth it.
