I went in to get mine…staff couldn't work out how to put it through on the register so they gave it to me for free.

According to a friend who works for Macca's the apple and the raspberry custard pies need to be deep fried for 9 minutes to defrost the filling.

Wow. How surprising that something that has been frozen into a solid block of thick chunks of apple/raspberry at <3C takes a long time to heat up.
