Contemplating if I should get it. Was hoping if anyone has good reviews.
according to amazon it isn't good- https://www.amazon.co.uk/Andis-Trend-Setter-Pivot-Clipper/dp…
Although for $10, I can't see how it could be any worse than the $15-20 range you find at big w
I got one. It gets hot very quick.
The barber I go to uses Andis branded clippers if that means anything. Although in saying that Wahl's budget clippers are garbage anyway
Really? Been cutting my kids' hair with a cheapo Wahl for years now. They still cut perfectly. However, I do take good care of them (disassemble/clean/oil).
Yes, I use Andis clippers on my dogs, they're good, but they cost much more than $10.
Even still, I might give these a go just for shits and giggles.
FREE SHIPPING with a shipster membership ;)
Good find, $25 minimum spend
Oh Yes, you're right. You'd need to buy 3 sets!
@ash2000: Only need to order 2 👍
@justhooked: Yeah, it must calculate the shipster eligibility based on the amount before the 20% is applied (ie $25.xx)
Can anyone recommend a good solid pair of clippers for buzz cut kinda deals?
You're too rude and demanding for anyone to give you anything
no soup for you
You are not you when you are hungry.
Have a break have a kit kat.
Got 2 for $20 delivered with shipster.
Thanks OP
Really just checked shipster site, it says minimum $25 for free shipping?
It definitely worked for my registered shipster account.
It was under $25Give it another shot.
Maybe because the total was over $25 with the delivery fee so shipster then kicked in?
Not sure.Status: Pending shipment
Delivery Method: Shipster – FREE EXPRESS SHIPPING with your Shipster Membership
TREND SETTER CLIPPER
$12.95
ITEM:
Item Internal Id: 39116
Quantity: 2
Total Amount: $20.72
How did you do that?
Can confirm, you can buy 2 for $20.72 Delivered with shipster, they also have the ANDIS Pivot Pro Trimmer for the same price so you could get 1 of each
Pivot ones have very bad review on site maybe these are better?
Thanks OP. Have been keeping an eye out for some new clippers, threw in the American crew cream to get shipster free shipping
I'm a member of shipster but have never used it got the email it's stopping so how do I get free delivery?
Purchasing using the same email you used as shipster, it will pop up at checkout. Min spend 25 dollars for free ship
It has horrible reviews, I'd save my money and put it towards a quality product.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Andis-Trend-Setter-Pivot-Clipper/dp…
Thank you for the neg, hopefully they're not as bad as the reviews listed on Amazon UK by actual buyers.
Thanks ordered 2 with free shipping via shipster
Excellent clippers, bought some in the last deal and have used them 2-3 times a week (head and beard) and they are still going strong. They have a powerful motor, feel well built and the blade is sharp and doesnt pull/grab like some of the cheaper clippers I've used. I have just bought another set as a spare at this price.
Do they get hot after 15 mins?
Warm, but not hot. 15 minutes is probably the extent of which I've used them in one go, but never had any issues with them getting too hot in that time.
$12.95 instead of $10.36? gone up a bit? :)
Ignore that … there's another 20% off!
Does anyone in Perth want to buy one for me and add to their order? I only want one and got no shipster account. I got a collection of trimmers

Great honest review from a professional for the trend setter.
And an interesting channel to subscribe to, thanks!
I got a professional Wahl (US made) that cuts like knife through butter beautifully. I also got that cheap Budget Wahl that was a OZB deal (~$15) primarily because I hoped the attachments that came with it would fit my proWahl (the attachments were a tight fit but doesn't cut). Comparing pro to the budget Wahl (China made) sucks as it couldn't cut through thicker sections of hair and kept jamming.
I seen heaps of American youtubers use nothing but Andis but there's also the Wahl camp as well. If there was a good deal on an Andis I'd get it to see how it compares but Id skip this especially if it's China made, I'd save my money.
Andis actually makes some awesome clippers, I just think this isn't one of them. :)
Yep, if you want a friend for life, just get a pro Wahl made in USA. I’ve had mine about 20 years; replaced the blades twice. Just keep them oiled.
Without shipster, postage kills it. Good find anyway op!
Awesome, got two, thanks op.

These are on sale too, and Amazon has 100+ reviews and much better.https://www.amazon.com/Andis-PivotPro-Outlining-Trimmer-2347…
Out of stock. Just managed to get the last one
Another model still in stock, similar price: https://www.hairhousewarehouse.com.au/Pivot-Pro-Trimmer
this is a trimmer
not the clipper
Awesome - I actually needed a trimmer more than a clipper. One for up top and one for below! Two for under 21 bucks incl delivery with shipster and 20% first time discount. Champion.
Once you try Philips you will never go back, trust me! Been cutting my own hair for 20 years now.

Is this the specific one you would recommend? I have been using those crappy remington ones for years. Not too bad really since I normally fully shave it all off, but been wanting to upgrade for a long time.
Any Phillips is great. They regularly keep coming up with newer improved versions, and there are no huge differences.
Thinking about using this to shave pubes, any advice/opinions or experiences?
Make sure you use the cover, not just the straight up blade… for the love of god.
Also, better off using a much smaller device, or else you might be cutting off more than you bargain for!missus would definitely not appreciate that!!
I have been using the straight up blades. No issues if you know what you are doing. Then again as indicated above I have been doing this for 20 odd years, but I don't think even a newbie could significantly injure himself with one of these…
Watch your satchel….. if you get too close you can nick it a little nothing major but you definitely feel it. I've got a trimmer that has a really close blade for beard and that has a tendency to nick the normal blade with wider spaces in the teeth doesnt for some reason.
I wonder if this would have been a pricing error? Seems like a huge discount from RRP (unless they are desperately trying to clear old stock?). Would be interesting to see if anyone that purchased it gets it shipped or if the orders are cancelled.
I think they are clearing stock as it may be a discontinued series
I thought these were a pricing error that may be cancelled too but just got an email with “sales order fulfilled” and tracking number
Your Sales Order is fulfilled.👍 should have them Thursday
Most of the reviews seem to be from barbers that use them 12-14 times a day that’s like a years use for me in one day 😬
My 2 clippers have arrived. I will post a photo of my baldo cut later.
I've received my Pivot Pro and trendsetters.
The pivot pro is utterly useless….. barely cuts a single hair, the blades move so slowly. My $5 AA battery operated trimmer is better. I'm yet to try the clippers.
I still have not got an email to say my order has shipped. anyone else still waiting?
Never received an email to say set but look on line mine arrived today in WA
mmm mine's still saying "Pending Fulfillment" looks like I might not get mine.
Just email them they will follow up .
@justhooked: they will get back to me within 48 business hours lol so that can take a week!
I got my trend clippers yesterday. Good build, heavy but cuts well. Solid deal at $10 thanks OP!
When there's free shipping but they wont leave it at your doorstep, so you still have to pick up from the local po.
Got mine yesterday. I like how compact but how solid they are.
Good find
