The slogan is, gaming for everyone with a rainbow, yet you weak people are acting like you have to take a 12 inch dildo up your arse, get over yourself and let some people have a rainbow background without crying yourself to sleep at night.

@FabMan: I'm a prudish gamer and proud. My right to not know about the freak-on foibles of other videogamers outweighs their right to overshare their exhibitionist bedroom misadventures on me. It's a violation of my prudish identification and sullens my total experience. The worst.

It is fine to be prudish, it isn't fine to be expect that others to be ashamed of who they are or to expect them to hide who they are. I do not care for public displays of overt sexual activities, but a rainbow background and PlayStation welcoming all gamers to their platform should not be frowned upon.
If I said I'm straight and that I have two kids, does that instantly make you think of my bedroom antics? If not, why would someone saying they are gay make you think of that, it doesn't me. If it does, well that is a hardship you have and I'd suggest a professional might be able to help you if you want it.

Free themes are NOT bargains. They belong in the forums. A terrible company taking advantage of gay pride month to boost their social image is NOT 'brave'.
Why can't you ignore the non-complying to install theme? Did you ask JV why he was complaining about it so much?
Can you explain why it wasn't criticized last year, or the other free themes aren't criticized for trying to boost their social image? Their intention behind other free themes is the same as this, to gather good will. Yet this one caused people to be offended, I think you snowflakes should just ignore it.

You could have ignored me and this post, or limited your complaint to 'This isn't a bargain', but you didn't. You asked me a question and you also added your own political agenda to it by complaining about PlayStation / Sony and their intentions.
People don't have to buy into it, they can ignore it since it doesn't attack anyone, the slogan is very inclusive 'For ALL the Players'.

Yeah. All these people getting so upset and worked up over this (including the see-through 'how is this a bargain?' and 'Sony don't care' crowd) are just illustrating why something like Pride Month exists. I mean, it's just a simple theme and so many people on here are somehow risking heart attacks getting so worked up and upset over it.
There's a level of lunacy going on in these comments that I previously would've guessed was a relic of the past. I mean, I understand gay people still have hardships and a long way to go, but to have this sort of insane reaction to a PS theme, in this place, is real surprising to me. I never would've guessed that something like this, in this day and age, could upset people so.
On the other hand though, it's not like the upset people are making intelligent, well-articulated points. There's no scientist chipping in here with their outrage. For the most part, they all sound like trashy garbage people that you'd cross the street to avoid. I wager these are the same scumbags that do burnouts up and down the streets, steal and just generally make life worse for others. The outage is at first surprising but then you think, yeah, the scum of society of course has access to computers too…
