correct, Roborck become very strict with the price, and it will go up again.
these devices have certainly come a long way, might have to consider updating

@StevieRay: lol.. i'll be sticking with my 5 year old $99 robot until it either dies or i see something substantially better for a little extra - which im sure already exists but the current solution is still fit for purpose for me and im cheap :)

i think you are confusing inflation with competition, if only we could vote for our governments like we vote for the products we buy, the difference is governments use your own money, and other peoples, to convince you to vote for them… they don't actually have to do anything "better" - people are smarter at making decisions when it comes to spending their own money compared to when they spend others or are promised shit, everyone loves free shit so yeah… mr/s labor/liberal career politician sounds good… hopefully one day people will be smarter to stop all this madness

This little guy has been the best. After having the unit for a fortnight, the wife told me today that "the robot has changed my life"… This after rolling her eyes every time I brought up the idea of a robot vacuum, then finally giving in an letting me get it.
It doesn't get stuck. It navigates around obstacles (including the shag rug, which I was sure it would get tangled up in). It hides under a couch out of sight until it comes out to do its thing. It's incredible how much it picks up.
In case you couldn't tell - I love this thing.
This version does mopping too, right? Can you comment on that function?

Vacuuming is awesome. Don't forget to turn on the turbo mode while vacuuming the carpet, it does wonders.
It is very basic and has a smaller ater tank so would not buy it just for this feature. Having had this product for about 6 months, I must say it is well worth it. It has reduced the house clean efforts by a massive amount.
It does the vacuuming very well and navigates around furniture and stairs with zero issues.
In regards to the vacuuming is the S50 $468 that much better than the Gen 1 @ $313 ? Not too worried about the mopping function. Thanks
Bought this about 8 months ago. It has made our lives so much better. We have two dogs and a cat and our house requires daily vacuuming to keep on top of it. Now, we can relax while Pac-Man (our name for it) does the cleaning for us.
The mopping isn’t super useful but the vacuuming is great!
