If you're a cinebuzz member (which is who this deal is for), you just show your card at the cinema, and you get it for that price. Which cinema charges $2.50 per online booking? I just had a look at a couple and it was only $1.
My mistake; yeah the booking fee was $1/ticket at last glance. That is still pretty excessive if you ask me.
With regards to Cinebuzz — surely this offer is not for existing members as they would already know via email. It is for new Cinebuzz members and there is no chance of the card being delivered before the 26th of May (Monday).
Conclusion: This offer is for existing cinebuzz members only who already have the card. Even then the offer is minimal — save $2/ticket to a specific movie and in a specific time.
You can print out a temporary membership card whilst you are waiting for your proper one to arrive.
Can you buy your tickets offline somehow? If not; the booking fee is $2.50 per ticket! That is quite expensive and costs the same as "cinecash" (readily available AFAIK)
