      I agree, the clip is terrible, it needs a manual tensioner. The auto sensor has a different style clip, might give this a try.

    I really want a wireless charger for the car, I have a good USB C charger, and a normal mount, but want to "upgrade" but have no idea which ones are good and feel overwhelmed by choice. Any recommendations out there? Has to be an air vent mount.

        The Qi part is great. The “intelligent” sensor is absolute pain in the ass. It doesn’t always detect when the phone is on, it sometimes randomly decamps… and it could just be me but I have to “turn it off and on again” (by unplugging it) to release my phone

        Edit: I bought the gravity one… because as I mentioned the intelligent one is the dumbest piece of horse dung I’ve ever used.

          I've had one of those for a couple of months. No problem at all. If mounted close to steering wheel it may trigger clamps when your hand is moving in front of it. But it doesn't open by itself. Maybe when powered by a cheap power adaptor it looses power and plays up. Mine works ok.
