If you haven't yet, I highly recommend to upgrade to custom 2.3 rom. It is much faster and smoother, and you can notice it in games as well (Angry Bird, Drag Racing, etc - games highly lag at all).
If something goes wrong, you can always re-flash it to 2.2 using ZTE flash utility.

Low stock, in my experience @ Forest Hill and Eastland, means either they don't have any or if they do it is a display model, which they may or may not be willing to sell. I've also had the experience of a product showing as low stock being a customer return which had been opened or marked as faulty but wasn't for sale but still on their product database.

One un-spoken-for MyTab remaining at DSE Fyshwick (ACT) as at 14:15 today. I asked about the MyTab ad in the new catalogue (from 15th of June). They had pre-orders on six out of eight units, but it happened that they had received their stock of MyTabs earlier today, so instead of me putting down a deposit and returning tomorrow, they let me buy number seven on the spot. :-)
For those still looking for a MyTab, DSE Parramatta (NSW) have received stock as my brother has bought one for me. A little phone store called CN Tech in Canley Heights has one in stock. I accidently bought it, not knowing my brother had already got me one. I returned it, and it's still sitting there.
Hope to pick mine up from DSE tomorrow. Completely new to me as I prefer to drive a MAC! Planning on using it for my kids to play games on and for work - early intervention with hearing impaired kids. Any tips on good android games for kids and with good listening activities???
Bear in mind that to upgrade to Android 2.2 you need access to a PC running Windows - XP SP2/3, Vista or 7 is required to run the upgrade tool. I haven't upgraded yet for this reason, but everyone seems to say that Android 2.2 is a worthwhile upgrade.
Actually, if I could get reliable 3G reception here at my workplace to register the Optus 3G prepaid SIM in the thing, that would be a good start… 2km from the Canberra CBD, and I can't get through the signup process, even while sitting outside!

Thanks for the firmware upgrade suggestion. I should have tried disabling 3G, but I thought I'd try using it like my mum would, which is to say, going with the defaults, and seeing whether it all "just worked".
I was finally able to activate the 3G SIM later that evening, while sitting in a carpark far from the CBD. I knew that 3G mobile broadband was supposed to let you access the Internet from a car, but it seems with Optus, sometimes that is obligatory. :-)
