  • AA/AAA Heavy Duty 10 Pack $4
    Personally I hate these batteries

Then why post it as a bargain when you can buy cheaper alkalines???

    • Some people may not want to buy 30 or drive to Bunnings (or have a Bunnings nearby) :)

Why does a cheap men's clothing store sell batteries?

    • Why not? :)

      • +2

Because it doesn't help achieve their Mission statement.

        • https://www.lowes.com.au/company "Today, Lowes continues to offer the public a range of well-made clothing at affordable prices. Lowes has expanded from its traditional offering of menswear and business wear to offer a full range of school wear, young mens wear, sportswear, active wear, footwear and work wear."

@jmarrone: Yep, batteries is not part of their core products.

            • @jv: "Lowes has expanded.." maybe they are expanding further into rare earth batteries? :)

              • @jmarrone:

" a full range of school wear, young mens wear, sportswear, active wear, footwear and work wear."

not sure how batteries fits into those new 'expanded' categories…

  • People are asking why buy these over alkalines. These don't leak and ruin toys, wiimotes and remotes. I personally have switched over to nimh cells for everything, but if you haven't commited yet there are still reasons to avoid alkaline…

    I hate these batteries too.
You can get a 50pk at Australia Post for $9.99
That may sound like a lot of batteries, but don't worry they don't last that long.
