wife just mentioned the hacking bit, good on them for honoring the deal anyway. I pulled my first shot this morning with the bean and it came out perfect and tasy, there will always be a difference between cheap beans and fresh ones.
What would be the purpose of a hack like this? The only thing I can think of is either harvesting CC info or for lolz, but it seems odd to hack a site for lolz just to give heavy but believable discounts.
Received my order - beans are excellent. Considering this deal was most likely a pricing mistake, it’s good publicity and exposure. At $42 per kg for their house blend, its not too bad compared to what I usually pay. Might keep an eye out for when they offer free shipping.
