      Really?
The place is usually full (okay not full but a lot of them) of asians whenever I go. (Not that there's anything bad about it, just saying, might have something to do with a lot of them living up in Ryde and what not, close by to the store)
And alot of families having a day out.

      edit:
      oh….. I just realised I'm feeding the troll… :(

What the hell is a bottomless soft drink?

    • +7

      Soft drink in a bottomless glass/cup ;)

    • +1

bottomless is what buffets and alot of other places (like IKEA) use to describe unlimited refill soft drink. Some Hungry Jacks still have BOTTOMLESS. E.G one on Hombush Bay Drive (but a long way down past hume hwy intersection) in/near South Strathfield

      • +1

As recently as last month the Hungry Jacks at Wynard Station still had a refill station.

    • I once had bottom popcorn. Wasn't worth it, was terrible.

It's kinda like a soft drink, just minus the bottom.

  • Soft drink is beyond awful, it used to be drinkable. They must of stopped bothering to maintain it. Would rather they give a fixed amount of drinkable soft drink instead.

  • Is it available say after 7pm? Might be worth dropping by after a long day's work.

sure, as long as its within the restaurant hours :-

Tried one of these just a few hours ago - for $3 its worth it for chips and drink alone. The fish tastes… well, like fish. Nothing special - no crumbing, garnish, anything, its a naked fish fillet. You'd want to put something on it so it's not so bland, but I'm not sure what!

    • salt? ..

    • How big was the fish? There's $5 grilled or battered fish and chips + can of drink outside Coles, though whether it's worth the extra $2, that's for you to decide.

      • Same size as all the other fish fillets I've gotten from standard fish & chip joints, though note it's naturally a little smaller as it doesn't have the batter or crumbing. I'd prefer it battered/crumbed but I suppose it's healthier this way!

(Not used to salt-only fish lol)

      • Tried the fish and chips outside Coles before, it's pretty tasty!

        • Macqaurie centre de cost seafood has fish and chips $5 and you can choose what fish you want and grilled/fried. its nice.

Where is the barramundi and chips offer on the web page? I only see chicken breast schnitzel for $4.50? Did you see it at Rhodes?

  • IKEA's food tastes like hospital food. It would be a good deal if it was for free in gesture to shopping for their awful furniture.

  • I agree, food is not nice.

I'm still all about the $1 hotdogs. Are they still around?

    • yup. havent had one yet but there still is. i like the bottomless drinks though and i think soft serve is better than maccas

  • Yeah they are still there. Wouldn't touch it personally, god knows whats in em.

  • I'm just surprised IKEA serves food.

yup comes flat packed with an allen key :)

  • I had mine, the fish tasted like it had been defrosted too quickly.. wasn't enough to fill me so ended up buying medium meatballs after finishing the fish
