Great price on a good fridge. Deal because The Good Guys already had it on sale for $995 (and didn't jack it!), +20% discount from eBay PGOODGUYS sale.
Seems to the best price in a couple of years going by OzB search history.

Was originally considering Samsung but so happy ended up getting the Electrolux.
Top mount is typically 10 to 25% more energy efficient than bottom mount.
Yes, top mount are said to be more efficient, but I like bottom mount as a little more convenient.
In the end it came down to $ - $314 delivered purchase price & reasonable running cost (reported as 333KWh/yr).
Great fridge, had mine for around 2 years now.
Over the lifecycle of a fridge, the more efficient 4.5 ⭐️ LG may pay for the price difference in electricity savings. Or wait for it to be on special.

Read past comments - eg freezing drain pipe issue with some Samsung (just regular maintenance need) & online reviews including Choice (copies available in libraries).

I considered the almost identical $796 bottom mount model in black in December. Delivered 5km was $49 extra.
Preferred this model, but wasn't on special. Nicer finish & TGG exclusive model in black lacked handles (slots in side of door). Kitchen is a bit dark, so SS finish suits far better than black.
Waited for this model to go on special…
Bought 535L SS (rebadged) fridge for $414 incl delivery a few weeks back. Rep gave me extra $100 refund due to a few stuff ups.

Couldn't argue with fridge $531 cheaper incl delivery! Happy with my larger more basic fridge, but would have preferred a bottom mount like this. Found I could do with a slightly larger freezer, not needing the larger fridge capacity.
