Great deal, even though I have very little interest in this type of game it's going so cheap (and reasonably well-reviewed) I'm seriously thinking about grabbing it.

  • Does anybody know about the Wii MMA game ? What its called etc ?

Thanks for Nothing! searched already and this is why the question

        • +1

I don't think there is one. UFC Undisputed was supposedly meant to be released for the Wii but never showed up.

        • They canned the UFC release for the wii due to the sales figures bombing so badly on the PS3 & X360.

    NICE!

How is it that they can send a $7.50 game halfway around the world and still make a profit? It's crazy.

$10 to the first person that manages a local price match.

    Incredible deal! Thanks OP!

Cheap as chips. Don't know much about the game but it's got semi-reasonable reviews, and you get to smack the crap out of each other. How could you go wrong :P

For those of you who are MMA fans, the game is light-years ahead of the UFC 2010 game in terms of quality/online mode/being bug-free/how it plays & the depth of the gameplay. On the downside though, before you get to that depth and figure out how realistic the game is, there is a pretty steep learning curve to master the controls/movement. The game is geared to hardcore MMA fans WAYYYYY more than UFC 2010 is & as a result, you need to actually have some idea of MMA fighting to master the game. Making silly mistakes or button-mashing will lead to being punished swiftly & brutally. The best way to describe the game is taking all the best parts of Fight Night R4/Champion and combining them with anything you found good about UFC 2010.

The next UFC game has been held over to early 2012 due to the 2010 game being a commercial flop for THQ, so this is the best your gonna get till then. The next version of EA MMA is set for late 2012, as EA release MMA and Boxing games on alternate years so as to avoid the "FIFA-effect" (Games only ever being a slight mod/upgrade on the last years version & people losing interest).
