Maybe it's not really the best.

How is that relevant? Lonely Planet is about travel, not car sales?

  • Good title.

  • Is this for Australia, or a free if you live in america or uk type book

printed in 2016, probably alot of the free things arent free anymore

    • Why?

      • +3

because CCTV and Five Eyes (FVEY) and the Golden Shield Project!

    • Oo that answered my question! 3 years isn't overly out of date, depending on the country. Still easily worth a look.

    How ironic is this bargain!

  • Lacking a lot of locations, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia. The best use of your money in third world countries, coke, hooker and more…

  • Spoiler: get a wife - free sex, one of the best things in life.

    • Can I borrow yours?

Lol you think its free? You're in for a surprise :p

    • +7

Free? What are you talking about? Having a wife is one of the most expensive hobbies you can have.

    • +2

It's like a credit card with high payback rate

      • +10

its like a bank account where the cancellation / account closing fee is half of your current $ balance, and you must call the bank and obtain approval for every major purchase.

Also, opening another bank account will automatically result in account closure!

Spoiler: get a wife - free sex, one of the best things in life.

All men pay for sex. One way or another.

  • STDs are free but I don't know if they fall under the "best things".

  • Travelling around Sydney needn’t cost a fortune. On public transport, buy an Opal Card (opal.com.au), and after eight paid train/bus/tram/ ferry journeys between Monday and Sunday, you travel free for the rest of the week.

LOL, this book need some updating.

  • You get what you pay for. Pay nothing and get the best, or pay half price and get this.

    • My bad, this really is free. (The description confused me.)

It's a bit hypocritical of them to ever charge for this book if they truly think it's a good read.

  • Is there a guide on staying in Dubai for free that doesn't involve prostitution?
