From my Amex dashboard:-
"From 1 August 2019, your Priority Pass benefit will be limited to lounge access only. Non-lounge airport experiences in the form of credits for restaurants, cafes and bars will no longer be available. For a list of available lounges, please visit americanexpress.com.au/platinumlounges"
At specific airport restaurants you could get $36 credit. But no longer From 1 August 2019. It will be interesting to see if this applies to all Priority Passes or just those issued through Amex.

Amex Platinum Charge card. I also just received an email that says the same.
Hmmmm, I've got the Platinum Charge and not seeing this, nor have I received an email. I guess it's about to come though :( that's disappointing.
Bummer - was considering signing up another card for this benefit. Wonder if this trend will spread to LoungeKey? Credit card benefits are thinning out substantially
AusBT broke the news on this last Friday.
it comes up for my Platinum Reserve card as well
Sack the $1450 Amex card for a lower level and grab a dedicated Priority Pass membership for less than half the cost (if lounge membership is that important)
I have cancelled my Amex after all their recent devaluations
Not showing up on my Dashboard. Which AMEX card do you have?
