  • Scrolling down I saw this one. Any good? https://www.mightyape.com.au/product/120mm-noctua-nf-f12-ind…

      Anything Noctua is good.

Indeed. When you give 6 years warranty on your air cooling systems that because you can trust on it

Depends on what you're using it for. According to noctua https://noctua.at/en/which_fan_is_right_for_me the Noctua NF-A12X15 is a good general one. The NF-F12 is best for radiators/cpu coolers where there's going to be a lot of resistance.

    • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThsuBvPkGcc this dude just turns fans on….. and off

    • This is high static pressure fan but very noisy, be aware of that

    • +1

they are really good fans of course. but i wouldn't recommend them unless your PC isn't in the same room you will be. they are LOUD haha.
if you wanted a black noctua fan they do make the normal 1500rpm version in black what is far better for normal use case.

  • Friends, this is a good fan but it's not the a12x25, the one that had all the hype.

  • Whats the best way to power one of these externally?

  • This would have been cheap if it was the non-slim version https://www.pccasegear.com/products/43504/noctua-a12x25-pwm-… As the slim version being slim. Would lack the static pressure that the full non-slim version would have. These new Noctua fans have double the static pressure or airflow of a normal Noctua fan. Just look for that metal circle in the middle and you have the new series.

If you have restricted space then yea its prob the best slim fan, but slim fans area niche so yea

  • Noctua's are great. But currently I've gone back to the old faithful - Gentle Typhoons.

  • Noctua fans are great. Now a lot of 3d printing hobbyists started using them on 3d printers as well

    • My Prusa mk3 came with a Noctua fan on it.

shame these aren't the normal version and not slim. $60 for insanely good but ugly fans is just too much. when they come down to $30 -$40 and are in black im jumping on a whole lot of them.

  • This slim fan is very noisy. I have 6 of them.
