anyone bought from seller before??? are these real sandisks??? good price

  • what class of card and read/write speeds?

    • From the price, id guess class 2's or 4's.

  • +2

It says Class 4 in the description

      where to?

      • +5

It wasn't a question. He was just saying that any one brought goods before. I, personally, brought goods nearly all the time. Especially from the store before.

Subtle English grammar gags are often missed around OzB! ;)

  • i bought another 1 with the main pic of the card having a class 4 symbol but wihout the adapter. is around the same price too. This 1 only shows class 2 in the main pic, just to avoid conflict upon delivery, i ignore this deal previously. However, i bought a usb micro sd adapter for $1.99. The total sum might be $2 more expensive, but i do not wish to have any problem later. Below are the links for both the card n adapter.

Hi Rep, can you clarify whether the 16G and 32G Sandisk MicroSDHC Card are class4 or class2?
(one picture would show class 2, the other would show 4 on the same ebay item. I would assume the picture is only for illustration purpose…?)

    • +1

      Description clearly says 'Class 4'

      • +1

Unmatched situation btw the description and photo. the total item sold was so much lesser than the 1 without adapter.

if any of you guys wonder why class 2 and class 4, sandisk launched these card at class 2 but in reality they reach the same speed as class 4 card. So recently they repackage the same card but label them as class 4 cards.

PS: i bought one when you guys were selling for 80bucks delivered. NOW i felt ripped off!

  • i can confirm the above, i've bought Sandisk cards before labelled class 2(packaging says it's for mobiles) and done some quick windows file copy tests, class 4 speed is sustained in tests

  • +1

I have a Class 10 card (Lexar) and it is quicker than this card - only in the large block transfer (ie. copying large files across). Sandisk are not as quick for large files, but is quicker when copying smaller files. So depending on what you use it for, each card can be different.

For example, if you are using it for an Android phone as primary memory, then Sandisk is required since there are a lot of small files that Android uses. However, if you are just using it as a data drive to keep a batch of large video or music files, then the other brands will be better.

I would NOT trust ebay for memory cards as a general rule

      • +2

Agreed as a general rule, but established sellers like in this case Shopping Square are a definite exception to that rule! I've bought off these guys on numerous occasions; they're straight up, it's just their ebay shopfront for their other online store! :)
