    I didn't like the quality of them when I looked at them, can't see them surviving many trips intact.

    I can confirm the quality of these are excellent.

    We've had Samsonites and Antlers in the past, always breaks after about 3 years (mostly wheels or handles), we bought these ones (black - small and large) almost 5 years ago and now still looking as new.

    We have 2 kids and travel 2-3 times a year
