I booked them at about 7 30 in the morning. All done by 9 30. Just went to work a bit later than normal.
The lady said I had to leave my car there. I didn't end up buying it yesterday.
If you need the old tint taken off it is $50 extra. If you want darker than 35%, 20% is $50 extra and 15% is $100 extra.
35% with removal = $199
20% with removal = $249
15% with removal = $299First weekend day available is 18/6/11 at the moment. Takes 3-3.5 hours to complete (including removal). Peugeots and some makes have 'softer/delicate' windows and take an extra 30mins.
Don't think they'd do >35% since its illegal to go beyond that.
My corolla seca took about 2 hours to finish. Didn't have any original tint on it.
I was about to buy this and I thought I'd check to see if I could go darker, so I actually spoke to the lady who books these in. She said most people get there and they choose to go for 15% once they compare it to the 35%. She gave me all the information above.
I forgot to mention the warranty when going for 20% goes up to 5 years, and 15% is lifetime warranty.it is illegal, but that doesn't stop companies. Some companies don't hand out a receipt when doing illegal tinting, just to keep themselves safe.
What's the deal with it excluding the windscreen. Do people not normally get that tinted? How much would the average windscreen cost?
Not quite sure, never seen a windscreen tinted, other than just the top quarter probably to avoid sun glare.

it is illegal in most states to get the windscreen tinted, except for that top bit. Although saying that, you can do it. You just have to ask for it to be done.

most tints are lifetime warranty.
Bought this one about 1 year ago when it came out in the same deal. Did it well, nothing to complain about. I think I got mine for 140 but didn't get the window cleaner.
