  • Hmm, how does this compare to the 150GB $200 Boost Mobile plan? 🤔 I mean aside from the obvious slight price/data differences.

    • Telstra vs not-Telstra is the main thing.

Boost also has some international minutes iirc.

This one lasts a year, the Boost one only lasts until your data runs out.

      • yeah..gotta keep an eye on your usage is a thing.
But each person should know their usage through the years.

  • +1

comparing to boost, you might as well sign up to boost 6 months $100 for 60GB total. which is 10GB per month, but iwth Telstra reception and some international unlimited call to some countries.
which will be 200 per year for 120GB. less data but better reception more likely.

unless kogan medium plan drops to 150~170, not worth it i recon

  • I paid $300 for 2 vouchers last year.

    • that was history. you cant repeat history

          Love is a battlefield…

      • I don't, so didn't neg this post.

This used to be the go-to until Boost came through with a banger

  • I am with kogan and they use Vodafone network, which is crap. I am switching to boost as soon as plan expires next month.

    • As a casual user who doesn't know any better and would like a fresh perspective, what's your use case that their network can't handle? Does streaming Youtube or Netflix stutter? Or is the network coverage bad and unreliable? Personally, I have noticed that my signal rather consistently dies around Homebush on my daily commute to the city.

      • Actually, now that I'm more conscious of this, I noticed the signal being rather choppy and switching between 4G and H+ with 1 bar of signal on my commute today. I'm gonna give Boost a shot once my prepaid period ends.

  • Can this be used for existing customer of Kogan?

    • Can't find giftcard as payment method on Kogan Mobile!

      • You purchase the voucher through Kogan actual site, not their Kogan Mobile Site.

  • Catch mobile better?

  • Voucher expires at 11:59pm AEST on 17/07/2019.

That's not very long at all….

    • That's the very date my 12 month plan expires 👍

  • switching to Boost with $150 - 80GB - 12-month plan this week. The Kogan one has more data, but I hardly use 20% of 13GB that I get with it/ month. Plus Vodafone network is not good. Hope the Telstra one is better.

    • how did the switch go for you? Was it much better as you expected out of Boost mobile?

      • yes. the port went as easy as a breeze. The network coverage is also good. So far, I'm liking it.

        • I'm in sydney CBD and metro (south) area and have been experiencing bad speed with Boost. I was with Kogan before and it was better for sure. Ported to Catch Connect right away and the speed has been restored!

I cant really comment on how great Boost is given it's on Telstra's network but maybe it's better for certain areas, country towns and afar. For me it was terrible and i've requested refund on the 1 yr service subscribed.

  • Heads up for anyone that buys this plan, Kogan automatically will renew the plan after the 365 days is over and charge you $300 for the privilege. You can remove your card details from their online portal to prevent the auto recharge occurring. Other than that, great deal! Just bought it :)

Just disable "auto recharge". No problem. You'll find everyone does this not just kogan. First thing I do after signing up to phone plans is disable that
