Great deal! Got one. Thanks OP.

Specs are awkward. If only there was a word for a thousand milliamps …

    • +2

      Is it a gigatwat?

    • +3

Should have used 1 BILLION nano Amps to really get the masses thru the door though. The GooLoo battery has Nano technology! :D

    • 18Ah - I made it simple, but sorry, I cannot make it simpler ;)

    Great Price
Is there a coupon for GOOLOO 1500A
As they say "bigger" is better

  • +5

I think 57.99 is the cheapest its been
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/384207

Can u make it slightly cheaper than that? :)

    • yes, at least price matching with the last deal.

      • I think those were the days when Amazon pushed a lot in lightning deals to compete in the market during their launch in Oz but after that this item never came to that price..I can’t complain at this price too due to quality of product.

    • I ordered one. I doubt it will be fulfilled. It is still yet to shipped.

    Thanks Op, great offer

So what is the total Wh rating? assume is 18Ah at 3.7V ie 66.6kWh
Is there a 12v supply Ah rating?

    • same 66.6kWh, but for 12V output the current is 5.55Ah maybe less considering the efficiency is not 100%

    • Yes, Chinese stuff just adds the (possibly fictitious) rating of each cell, and ignores voltage

If you are wondering about trying to take this on a plane - I wouldn't.

      • 20000mAh powerbank ok to carry , why not this one? 100Wh is the limit i think.

        • +1

It will not state actual capacity, and lacks any sort of overload protection on the 12V out for obvious reasons.
You are likely to have it confiscated. Definitely do not put it in checked bags please!

  • How come in getting 75.58 after applying the code. So I still have to pay $5 for delivery?

  • How does this compare to the lead-acid battery jump starter?

    • +1

There are lead acid battery jump starters that you could carry in your pocket?

  • Don't forget 10% cashback - cash rewards

    • I forgot :(

    • It's only 3.5% for electronics. Found out the hard way "up to" 10% off

Got one for emergency, thank you!

  • Doesn't seem to have PD for laptops or it would be good.

I wouldn’t use one of these. A similar unit has already been know to cause a fire in a parked car (fire reported on the news about a month ago) and I suspect others catching fire are the reason for the recent garage fires (people leaving them on charge overnight). The batteries are usually low quality Chinese lithium cells without the proper protection electronics built in that the quality Japanese manufacturers use. Number one rule with lithium batteries is buy a reputable brand and never leave on charge unless you are nearby.

    • What brands would you recommend then?

      • I keep hearing good things about clore noco and dbpower. However you would need to do more research. D

Some which seem very popular on Amazon US are these models.

DBPOWER 600A 18000mAh Portable Car Jump Starter

NOCO Boost Plus GB40 1000 Amp 12V UltraSafe Lithium Jump Starter

Clore Automotive Jump-N-Carry JNC660 1700 Peak Amp Jump Starter

        Good luck buddy.

    • These are superior units no fires that I have heard about. Certainly not cheap either. These units jump-start a car, they don't charge them. I feel you may be meaning cheap car chargers from kmart or something.

My one is the 1500model and has jump started my Toyota corolla which was beyond dead several times first go. Same with SUV a a Ute. It's well worth the measly $70 bucks. Mine was $135 or so with the cigarette lighter attachment

    • Problem is it is hard to be sure that they won’t have an issue one day due to manufacturing faults. Samsung is an example. Lithium batteries are a volatile technology which is why they have so many safety measures built into reputable ones (over charge, temp, charge rate, discharge rate, short circuit). Issue is there is no external warning if any of these protection systems are disabled from static, accidental shorting, dropping etc. Some brands also have older battery technology that can self ignite if they get over 60deg C. I suspect that was the cause of this failure. https://www.nbnnews.com.au/2019/04/06/portable-battery-pack-…

  • Mine arrived today :)
Out of interest, will it trickle charge the car battery if I just connect the clamps & unit to the car battery?

  • These cheap Chinese jump starters usually dont work. They might work for a motorbike or a small 4 cylinder car, maybe, but otherwise they cant start a v6 or larger engine.

Mine arrived today, i tried to use the home adapter to charge it but it does not work. One blue light keeps flashing and that's it.
    Anyone has the same problem?
