I'm in the market for a new action camera as the kids dropped the last one. This one looks comparable in price to the SJCAM SJ8 Pro I was looking at. Any advice on whether I should pull the trigger on this one?

  Check out the “hypersmooth” feature of GoPro Hero7 Black or the “rocksteady” feature of the DJI Osmo Action. Electronic Image Stabilisation makes these action cam videos so much better. To get these features you obviously have to spend more. Up to you to decide if these are features you would use or enjoy and are willing to pay for.

  I think generally they all say either get the black or get something other than gopro.
  I think the dji action camera is similarly priced but better.
  I got a $40 action cam so not an expert :)
