Samsung Tab Screen Mirroring

I’ve asked this in couple of places but couldn’t get an answer.
Anyone having a Samsung tab and Samsung smart TV ? If yes, can we mirror the tab screen to TV ?

I got an iPad and resolution isn’t that great while connecting via adaptor.

TV - Samsung Smart TV 2018 model.

I’m under impression that all tabs and mobiles can be mirrored to TV but wanted to ensure before I start a contract with Telstra.

What TV you have? The Samsung 2018 should bow have Airplay 2 built in which ma give you better resolution than the adapter. I think you need iOS12.3.1

  Don’t have airplay in the model I have !! Mate is able to mirror his Samsung phone through screen mirroring option.

    Airplay requires a software update on the TV. A model number would help to see what features yours has

Tablet needs and app called Smart view, Or you can simply drag down your notifications and select smart view or screen mirror icon
Tv needs a google chromecast.

Then you can mirror or cast things from the tablet

    Yes if your tv has cast features then you dont need a google chromecast

      Yeah, when I use my laptop I can mirror it (more of the times lol)
      But we do have an option to change the source - and select screen mirroring which works with Samsung phone.

B0nd why do you need to mirror your phone?

I have the availability to do this but never used it. I cast youtube, netflix and stream videos to my tv but i have needed to mirror my phone.

  To play one videos on sites that are geo restricted. (I’m using smart DNS for unblocking)
  
  Don’t have an app and only option is via browser - and browser on TV is carp and hard to operate; and most of the times videos don’t work.
  So, play videos on a tab or phone and mirror the screen.

You can get a matching app on the TV and device - then mirror, yes.
