Dear Oz-bargainers,
We have recently moved into our newly built home and looking to buy furniture, I would like to know where my fellow OzBargainers find the bargains in Melbourne. I am looking for Sofa Lounge, Bed and TV Unit.
Cheers,
Saray

Scumtree. Furniture is a depreciating asset.
Migallo migallo migallo.
Brunsawick and footascray!
This guy gets it.
depends on budget. I would think Ikea is a good place to start.
I would love to hear some (useful) recommendations myself.
*NOT HARVEY NORMAN .. I used to work at one ages ago and the mark up in ridiculous.. Sometimes as an employee we would be amazed at customers being excited and purchasing assuming its value for money during sales… and i can confirm the markup on sales is ridiculous.. so forget about purchasing a full price item.
Bought ours from
OZ design furniture (during sale)
Casey Furniture Auction
Furniture Trader
Ikea
Thank you all
We’ve got King furniture couches, but you need to only buy when they are 50-70% off. They aren’t the cheapest but the quality is pretty good. I would also recommend looking at the SouthWharf DFO, there are a number of furniture places there.
Tbh I love my ikea couch. It was one of the mid range prices but it’s super comfy. I’ve had many a good nap on it.
Side of the road is usually pretty good but I'd give it a miss after the recent rain.
