it is still a gimmicks to undercut Jetstar..(by 12 dollars for 3 pax)… Is it really a bargain?
I'd happily pay the extra to fly with air nz, quite easily the best airline I have ever flown with.

similar travel period and definitely cheaper than either Virgin Blue or Jetstar.

Wow, my 12 hour red-eye going through BNE-CHC-ZQN on jetstar doesn't seem like such a good deal anymore.

$328 return Syd - Wgtn is a bargain. It costs more to get a taxi to and from the airport!
you must live a long way out from the airport then.
Welcome to metro Sydney - around 70kms from airport for me - 1.5 hours from the airport - taxi is around $150 each way - so maybe it's not exactly double but it's not far off
or look at it another way - $399 for 1 weeks valet parking at Sydney International Airport or $202 for 1 week in the general parking area
meh.. gimmicks.. Jetstar is probably a LOT cheaper
