If by new you mean not really and will be obsolete in a few months then yes, it's brand spanking new.
FIFA usually comes out in October, so there are still a good few months left for this one to be the latest
if you've waited this long to buy fifa 11, may as well wait a few more months and get 12 instead.

Ya agreed EA will probably come out with fifa 12 soon. Tiger woods is already 2012.
Thats the only reason why games in Australia come down in price. Why wait till fifa 12 almost comes out, for the fifa 11 price to drop, when you can get it at a much discounted rate soon after its release from overseas.

You won't be dissapointed if you get this so long as you know that Fifa 12 will smoke every sports game like a boss
fifa 11 still a great game and a lot of fun especially MANUAL!!!! But seriously Fifa 12 is going to be the biggest improvement in fifa ever :D
FYI There is a bug in the current FIFA so that new young players don't improve in stats unless they get weekly match play. You can't just train them to get better stats.
