Lenovo Vs Dell Desktops - Which One Is Better?

Hello everyone,

I am planning to buy a new desktop for my father.
He only uses the PC for internet browsing and the occasional word processing tasks.

I have been checking out the Dell Inspiron and Lenovo V series desktops.

I would like to hear from anyone who has good/bad experiences with these desktops.

Thank you.

They aren't bad, just not great value and you can definitely pick up powerful AMD ryzen based desktops based on the deals seen on the front page in the last week for less money.

I would expect 8 to 16 gigs of RAM and a 120 to 250GB SSD as kind of a minimum (must have) when you are spending $600~799 on a desktop.

always Dell. certifies onsite tech here. very good service as long as under warranty.
    Dell is more customer oriented.

  • consider rebuilding id its for personal use. you will get same configuration at half the price.

    • If OP knows how to build computer he wouldn't be asking for comparison between a Lenovo Vs Dell for internet browsing and the occasional word processing.
OR next thing OP would ask, what is CPU.
Plus, don't think there is much price difference between pre build and custom build these days.
