    I gave belong a try for the last two months and noted that reception sucks inside shopping centres where Optus usually gets 3 bars 3G. The app and website is almost unusuable and takes forever to load. Billing is always on the 28th and there seems to be free call forwarding, data banking and data gifting (1GB blocks). If you refer a friend, you also get two months free each.

      Yep, my experience is much the same. Partner and I are on $10 plans, having banked data from "referring" ourselves.

      Data is practically useless inside Southern Cross Station at peak times. But it is cheap and mostly ok.

    Boost Mobile is much better value if you get their 12 months for $150 with 80g data and it includes some free international calls too.

    Mobiciti has $40 for $15 right? Same $ value as this but getting more credit, if you want more. And remember putting in a referral code will get you an extra $20 on either!

    It blows my mind that for average $2.50 a month we have a plan with unlimited calls, unlimited sms, and unlimited 64kbps internet. One day i hope to code something to take advantage of it (cache reddit, ozbargain, instagram, whirlpool, facebook, news, weather, youtube-stuff). I doubt anyone consumes more than 691MB a day of non-video material on the internet so it's pretty possible if you have something going 24/7.
