I bought some recently and they seem fine?
any other recommendations?
Wiltshire knives are fine for home kitchen.
These ones are actually terrible. The blade is sharp, but the thickness of the blade makes this a terrible knife to use.
That's exactly the issue I have with them too. Well, I think they become dull quite fast too.
yeah, I got the knife set that was $13, so can't really expect much. I got the Furi set a couple of months ago, and they are awesome.
@pformag: I didn't buy a set but some of the ones listed, the bread knife works good and the carving knife has made cutting meats a lot easier.
These knives are thick, so cutting is not easy. Struggle to cut a watermelon alone. Even cheese is hard due to the thickness of the blade.
thick spine should make these able to take more abuse ie cutting/batoning through bone/joints etc. loosing edge quickly also means easy to sharpen up, and less likely to chip/break.
they are obviously not ultra fine slicers but they have their purposes.
for this price i think they are good.
I've got a set from the last year Good Guys sale. These knives are not any good.
